Municipal Court Case Management (MCCM) is a web-based case management system that allows courts to manage all aspects of the municipal court process. Advanced Computer Technologies (ACT) was involved with developing both the Alabama Office Of The Courts (AOC) NameMaster and the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center (ACJIC) Law Enforcement Tactical System (LETS) applications. Both of these applications have integrated with the latest MCCM application.

- MCCM allows the court to customize their dockets for courts and allows for state reports to be electronically submitted.
- MCCM uses a central name and party database which means every with who you interact - judges, witnesses, prosecutors, defendants, respondents, public defenders, victims, plaintiffs, and law enforcement officers, etc are entered into the MCCM and linked to cases as needed. This innovative design provides an overall view of how a name or party has been involved with your court.
MCCM manages all of your cases from initiation to disposition. MCCM's web based design is setup for any web based police records management system to be easily integrated and to ease the workload of entering parking tickets, traffic tickets, IO reports, and arrest records. MCCM also provides better report functions to aide in conducting annual audits.

ACT hosts many local and statewide government applications. We currently have a dual redundancy in place with daily backup tapes on and offsite both in Alabama and Florida. All data hosted by ACT for any court is property of the court and will not be shared with any third party. By using ACT's hosting services you do not have to worry about purchasing servers, Microsoft server licenses, virus protection, etc. Advanced Computer Technologies takes care of all upgrades and maintenance required for the server and application.
The disaster recovery plan (DRP) for the web based MCCM system is focused on our ability to minimize any downtime for the courts, insure all data is securely hosted and allow the courts to access their data on a real-time basis. All pertinent data and configurations are backed up nightly with a recent copy of this information kept offsite at all times for easy and portable re-installation elsewhere. The nature of web based systems allows for minimal reconfiguration when transporting from one location to another. This means act will be able to fully recover data and configurations regardless of the level of destruction with relative ease and swiftness.
